Traditionally used to promote rest & lucid dreams, Mugwort (Artemesia vulgaris) is also lovely as a space-cleanser when steamed or smudged. Our Mugwort Bundles are cut from the organic-practicing Sage & Thistle Garden at peak harvest time to ensure their potency. Each Bundle is approximately 15g, and provides many smudges or steams.
To use as smudge: burn small amounts in fire-safe container to cleanse your space of negative energy. Before composting or disposing of burned pieces, run under water to ensure there is no residual heat. When burned, it smells similar to Prairie Sage (Artemesia ludoviciana) & is used in a similar way. Do not burn in potted plants.
To steam: In a heat-safe bowl or pot, pour simmering water over Mugwort pieces & allow the steam to fill the space. When finished and cool, compost plant material.
