Prairie Sage (Artemisia ludoviciana) is a beautiful & very important native plant, used for centuries by Indigenous peoples to treat a variety of ailments and symptoms, as well as a smudge. It is a bitter, aromatic & beautiful herb that smells similar to sage when burned. Mikael grew up on the prairies of Nebraska and this plant was always on hand in her home, and she has grown it for many years here in Ontario, adding it to herb bundles alongside other herbs grown in the Sage & Thistle Apothecary Garden. Use in infusions for your skincare, add to pot simmers, or burn as incense. We offer it in a reusable, food-safe 4oz glass bottle with cork stopper.
